Explore our local parks & wildlife this Spring + FREE Echidna craft activity

Spring is here, and there’s no better time to explore the incredible parks and gardens of the Mornington Peninsula.  From lush the bushland of Greens Bush to coastal walks around the Mornington Peninsula National Park, we love getting out and about to discover the magic of our local landscape and wildlife.

Adventure Awaits in Our Local Parks

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a storytime at Frankston City Library, where we shared stories about our favourite local parks and gardens to explore this Spring. We talked about all the amazing places you can visit with your little ones, and the wonderful creatures you might spot along the way. Some of our regular wildlife sightings include kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, koalas, emus, pelicans, and plenty of marine life —just to name a few!

During the session, we even made our very own echidna craft, inspired by our Springtime encounters with these curious critters at places like The Briars and Cape Schanck. Now, you can join in on the fun from home with our FREE Echidna Craft Activity Template and Instructions! Designed to keep the creativity flowing while you and your little explorers plan your next outdoor adventure.
